The turn around

[This is] because the foolish thing [that has its source in] God is wiser than men, and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men. 1 Corinthians 1:27

Don’t get down in the pit and start doubting what God showed you. Your dream is just as real in the pit as it is in the palace.

The bible tells us that God deliberately chose the foolish things of the world to confuse those who consider themselves to be wise. The Lord chooses those who are treated with contempt, and deemed as insignificant to shift them into people of significance, honor and respect.

  • shame, disgrace, put to blush.
  • Cause surprise or confusion in (someone), especially by acting against their expectations.

The logic in the mind of God is that He will not share His glory with another. He requires our submission and surrender so that He could confound the wise. Just ask one of my favorite characters Joseph. He was treated with contempt by his own family, yet God positioned him as a significant person. Joseph would be the one person who could feed Israel and the nations, the very people who broke Joseph were the people who needed him. Before becoming King, David was also treated with contempt by his family. But  when Goliath mocked the armies of Israel, it was David who defeated the giant; and he did so right in the presence of his brothers.

Your life is in the hands of God. He knows the end from the beginning so even if the people you trusted in, dismissed or counted you out, God has a shift for you. They may look down on you for whatever reason, but God knows you completely and chooses to reward you. Remember, when He does take you to places of honor and esteem, the glory belongs to Him.

Let’s pray:

Thank you Lord Jesus, that you are God and besides you there is no other. I pray that those reading today would receive a fresh anointing. May their hearts be encouraged, and their hopes be resurrected. I pray that each person who has felt dismissed, underappreciated, disgraced or ostracized be redeemed in your will Lord. May they go from the pit to the palace, or from shepherding sheep to managing kingdoms. In Jesus name, Amen.
