Father God, thank you for New York City. I thank you for all that you are doing even during this time. I pray for those in the medical field and all the essential workers who put their lives at risk to keep the nation running.
I pray for President Donald Trump, his cabinet and governing leaders across the nation. I pray you strengthen them all and fill them with wisdom and strategy to make the right decisions for us. I pray that if they feel forsaken or forgotten, they may be visited by you Jesus. I pray that you bring rest and comfort to their hearts. I pray they can sleep and eat as you intend for us to do. You are He who keeps us and in vain do any of us stay up to worry or plan.
I ask you to shut the mouths of the lions that war against the president and those in eminence. I pray for civil peace and a yielding of responsibility to each member of this society whether young or old, great or small.
May people recognize that each of us matter, that we together are a system and when we stand together we are stronger. I pray you help those struggling financially and those who have lost their livelihood.
May you supply their needs and give them that sustainable joy to know that they do not have to worry about tomorrow, because you feed the lilies and they don’t even work. I pray that this nation would withstand this trial spiritually, mentally, emotionally and financially.
It’s in the name of Jesus that I pray. Amen.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life; godly and dignified in every way.
