Thank you Father God for today, another day. I’m grateful for my family and friends, I thank you for keeping them and guarding them from the enemy.
I pray for the people who may be feeling angry and frustrated with the state of our country. I pray you strengthen our hearts and help us set our faces like flint. I pray for those people who feel stuck between a hard place and a rock; may you help them re-direct their emotions into proactive decision making, rallies, boycotts and other types of demonstration that would bring about change and not destruction. I pray you raise up leaders and voices during this time Lord God, that may guide the nation in a productive way.
I ask you to lord to bring systemic changes in society and governmental policies, agencies and structures. I pray that colorism and racism would subside and that your love would help us see others, the way we are supposed to. Your word says that we are to love and honor one another: my prayer is that we would Jesus.
I also pray for those who are in domestic violence or otherwise toxic relationships. I ask you Lord to give them a way out and a fresh wind of hope. I ask you to show us to live life effectively and give back to others as you have given freely to us Lord.
I pray this in the name of the Almighty, Jesus. Amen.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.
