Over 2 years ago the Lord told me, I’d be going on a new journey. Leaving my church, my old friends and all that was familiar to me. Little did I know that before crossing over, I had to release the last bit of baggage I had carried for over 30 years in my heart and mind. The funny thing is, I thought I already had.
I found myself between a hard place and a rock. I didn’t want to. I was tired and burnt out. I was over Christians, the waiting, the process and the nonsense. But I had to humble myself yet again. Thinking that I knew more than God was not going to cut it. We must humble ourselves to deal with whatever God beings to our attention. Remember, God is on your side. When we choose to do things God’s way, it pays off in the end.
Every single step, every single process, every heartbreak, every disappointment, every childhood issue, every poor decision we ever made, every offense, every lie, every accusation; is worth it. It bring perseverance, maturity, faith and revelation. Not only has God winked at our wrongs and extended His mercy towards us, saved us but He has also promised to deliver us, bless us with favor, protection and wholeness. Who are we to withhold these from others?
